The age of 13 to 36 can be said to be our critical formative years as we explore and develop into our own persons. Kaimyo-in's supportive and energetic Youth Division enables youth believers to journey through the myriad of milestones in life together - be it school, career, friendships, romantic relationships or the exciting start of our own families. We deeply believe that through practising True Buddhism, we can face our challenges courageously and wisely, forging a truly meaningful life for ourselves.
Within the welcoming embrace of Kaimyo-in, we aim to cultivate a safe space where youths and students alike can converge to share their joys and tribulations openly. Here, bonds of friendship are forged, transcending mere camaraderie to embody the spirit of Zenchishiki – becoming good friends in practice with one another.
We welcome all youths aged 13 years and above to join our monthly youth activities to study about Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism and how we can apply it in our daily lives. There are many exciting activities such as Youth Kenshu (annual camp), Youth Tozan where we make a pilgrimage to the Head Temple Taisekiji, dialogue sessions, outreach events and community activities such as charity drives.
