In this episode, Mdm Lim Cheng Hoe shares the deeply moving story of her 20-year journey to shakubuku her youngest son.
Since receiving Gojukai in 1999, Mdm Lim never gave up on her wish for her whole family to practise together, even as her introverted youngest son kept his distance from faith. When she was diagnosed with cancer in 2024, her son put aside his work to care for her, and his heart began to open. Seizing the moment with courage and sincerity, Mdm Lim shared her heartfelt wish, and to her tearful joy, her son finally received Gojukai in November 2024.
Recorded at Head Temple Taisekiji during their family Tozan, this episode beautifully captures a mother's unwavering prayer and the profound family bonds that are strengthened through faith.
