Past Announcement (17 May 2021)

Closure of Kaimyo-in until 31 May 2021 due to Phase 2 (heightened alert), all activities to move online

Announcement on 17 May 2021:

Good morning everyone.

The Covid-19 situation is evolving. As a result of MOE's announcement yesterday my children's kindergarten is closed today and my oldest son's elementary school will be closed (online classes) from this Wed.

Because of this unstable situation I've decided on the following precautionary measures:
• Kaimyoin will continue to be closed and we will conduct Gongyo and Ceremony only via online platforms
• We will continue to chant 3 hours daimoku everyday.
• from now until 31 May no Gojukai will be conducted (this period may be extended depending on the situation)
• from today (17 May) Toba application and Gokuyo offerings are permitted at the Kaimyoin reception, but only limited to a maximum of two people who can enter Kaimyoin

The above measures are subject to changes at any time according to prevailing government policy. I would like to thank everyone for your continued understanding and cooperation. Please take care of your health!
